Not marked for New England Glass,  but from the star pattern inside , its safe to say this is a product from them , circa 1850s.

Large 10in diameter globe , with thicker than standard gauge wire guards .
Very heavy duty construction made , fluted wind deflectors over the vent holes .
Most likely this was used in a  maritime setting of high wind.

No visible condition issues, structurally sound , no loose solder. 
Sangster fount clips in tight.
However was repainted at one time , and may of had a burner change from whale oil to a kero burner as the times changed to keep in service.
