The Leader lantern made by The Nail City Lantern Company  of Wheeling, WV

Nail city is most known for thier tubular lanterns, the Leader is a seldom seen Railroad style constructed Lantern, using a dual globe system similar to the Baron Buckeye Lanterns.

Patented October 22nd 1878 on the brass fount  latch .
Unique tilting design to access the burner.

Condition - very good, light pitting .
No rust heavy rust.
All original parts  and no visible  condition issues.
Shelf display ready .
