Made by Edward Miller Mfg. Co of Meriden, CT Russell B. Perkins 1880 patent stamped on the chimney body. Edward Miller Company was not well known for its lanterns, and really not known for its tubular lanterns. I only know of 4 variations of this model mostly seen in tin. Thisis a solid brass tubular lantern with a tin bottom. WARM Blast construction tubes . The air circulates and exits thru the top of tube ears that act as vents. Globe is an iridescent Red flashed, under light as shown , it appears blue . Condition- excellent, no visible cracks in the brass. Excellent overall untouched patina. Bottom tin is solid with light surface rust. No visible working conditions. ** has not been oil tested ** ** item is on consignment, ships from PA**
