Per 1893 catalog this is listed as the No.0 Leader lantern .
Center tube is stamped Patent Applied for, which indicates this lantern was made before they were approved and assigned a patent number. 
The globe removes by lifting the wire pull on chimney using an internal spring , and globe is tilted back.

Condition  - tin is smooth and clean , no heavy rusting or pitting present. 

Globe is marked HAM 

no visible condition issues
