Solid brass construction 
Spring loaded candle is fixed into the lower body / skirt.
Threaded globe and diamondhole pattern is similar to G.W. Woodward patent models.
Frame and globe are unmarked,  no patent dates.
From its design ,I can estimate its era of 1870s.

Brass pull chain , also has what appears to be bail holes , but no signs of a bail ever in use.

Condition - excellent
No cracks or damage, spring is working.
